Newtown United Methodist Church is a place where you can come as you are, not a place where “everyone has it together.”  A place to worship God and experience his love, grace, and mercy freely offered to everyone.  Our Sunday atmosphere is relaxed and casual.  People wear anything from business casual to jeans and t-shirts.  Wear whatever you’re most comfortable in.  

Traditional liturgy, hymns, choir, handbells and organ music are some of the aspects you will find in our traditional service.  The hymns and anthems from the choir capture the heart of our church as we celebrate God’s faithfulness and our gratitude for Christ in our lives.  The bible based messages are both practical and relevant to our life, taught in a way that is both understandable and engaging.  Children are welcome in the service and a children’s Sunday school is available as an option during the service.
